About Hosting Photography

What are We?

Hosting Photography specializes in website hosting and website development for photographers. We build and host custom websites for professionals and amateurs wanting to share, and or sell their work online. We specialize in website solutions that provide customers the ability to control content themselves. This saves you needing to contact developers or pay additional fees for each update required.

Our services do not end there, we also cater for anyone wanting to have an online presence and will help them achieve their goal no matter what subject their website will be about.

We aim to provide the best customer care, building friendly but professional relationships with our customers. While we may not know everything, we are always honest and will always go out of the way to help you.

Where are We?

We use a mixture of The Planet and Liquidweb Data Centers for our servers (US Based), we do not own a data center ourselves, in fact not many web hosts do although they will lead you to believe they do.  All of our servers are dedicated to us, we do not share our servers with other resellers nor do we host resellers on our servers.

The Planet’s 35,000 sq ft data center is world class, with a fully meshed and redundant network with ten backbone providers consisting of UUNet, Sprint, Level 3, Global Crossing, Verio, AT&T, Time Warner, Allegiance Telecom, BroadWing and AboveNet for their full certified Cisco network. Multiple data grids driven by TXU electric server the data center, with Powerware UPS battery backups and dual generators onsite for additional redundancy should there be a power failure.

All hardware and network is monitored by their on site technicians 24/7/365. We also employ external network and hardware monitoring 24/7/365 from external locations in the event of a warning or problem so that we are always aware of potential issues the same time as the on site technicians.

Offices

Our offices are dispersed in the UK with most of our staff working from remote locations (still local to one another), and we meet frequently to discuss company direction and new services we will offer. By keeping our overhead costs down we can provide better service and quality for a reduced cost, saving our customers expenditure. This is one of the reasons we do not offer telephone support and we prefer to provide support and help through our Client Area.
